The shepherd aims to be a web space for sharing about extensive shepherding, and a portrait of this secular activity. It also functions as a living laboratory for the Green Data Earth project. Extensive grazing in mountainous areas
In order to promote a series of actions to enhance the endogenous ecosystem of mountain areas, the "Na Rota de Pastores" initiative is a step towards establishing direct contact with the territory, creating links with it. The proposed actions are aimed at promoting extensive grazing and indigenous breeds, as well as raising the general public's awareness of these topics. The aim is to reinforce the dynamization of initiatives that promote nature tourism based on the traditions, habits and customs of mountain communities. 2024-Pause
